Concept & Design
We’ll deep-dive into who you are as a couple; the things you love, what you're drawn to, the must-haves and non-negotiables for your wedding. We’ll then hibernate for a few weeks to do extensive research into your specific historical period, aesthetic, counter-culture etc, and present back an initial Wedding Pack. This will pull together a cohesive look & feel and define your overall themes, mood boards, colour palettes and budget scoping. We’ll then review and iterate until you’re ready to start booking your venue and main suppliers.
Planning & Prioritisation
Once your Wedding Pack is locked, we’ll source various venue, vendor and supplier options to bring our vision to life and go on a load of site visits together. During this process, we’ll define an overall project timeline, the cadence and method you want us to communicate with you and continuously feedback on budget management. Through this phase, we may find we want to evolve your Wedding Pack and must-have’s according to the quotes coming through. We’ll work together to continuously prioritise, ensuring we manage your budget mindfully.
Logistics & Schedules
Once the core pillars are in place, we’ll start to think about the details of how you want your wedding to run, define your on-the-day schedule and pre-empt any situations which may need crisis management. We’ll develop final requirements documents for each supplier and figure out who needs to be where and when. As weddings can be somewhat political, we’ll also work to understand where you may need some extra support to mitigate any difficult interpersonal dynamics. At this point, we’ll develop Info Pack’s for your core wedding party, including schedules, mood boards and all the things they need to know - we’ll even set up meetings and run through them with everyone if you’d like.
Decor & Styling
Ahead of your wedding day, we’ll go on another venue visit to figure out how we can bring the themes in your mood boards to life. We’ll define a budget for decor and do all the work to source everything needed. Our preferred approach is to be conscious about sustainability and re-purposing, so where possible, we’ll look for vintage and/or second hand options. We’ll order everything to ours, polish it all, create mock-up’s and send you progress pictures. We’d be thrilled to be as involved as you want us to be in all aspects of styling, including Bridal, Groomswear, wedding party outfits and accessories. We’ll establish what would work best for you, early on in the planning process.
On the day of your wedding…
We’ll be up early in the morning to set up all of your décor, checking-in with suppliers to make sure all on track and around if there’s anything you need from us (even if it’s a coffee run!). There’ll be a minimum of 2 people from our side around all day. The majority of our time will be spent keeping everyone to schedule and communicating with suppliers, however we’ll also make sure you as the couple are taken care of. We’ll work with you beforehand to identify what you want us to be doing. For example, you may need us to shout names for the arranged pictures, usher guests onto transport, hand out confetti etc. or you may prefer for us to remain more in the background.
